New data released today from NSW Land Registry Services shows NSW mortgage holders have been refinancing with the major banks in greater numbers during COVID-19.

Lapsing Notices go digital

NSW Land Registry Service (NSW LRS) will now send Lapsing Notices to the lodging party via email, cutting notification times by up to seven days and making it quicker and easier to remove a caveat.

The NSW Government has mandated the conversion of all paper Certificates of Title (CTs) held by Authorised Deposit-Taking Institution (ADIs) to electronic CTs (eCT) by 1 October 2018.

eConveyancing Update - PEXA Release 8.0.2

From 16 July 2018 Transmission Applications by a devisee, beneficiary or next-of-kin or by executor, administrator or trustee affecting an estate in land will be available to be lodged electronically through an Electronic Lodgment Network currently managed by Property Exchange Australia (PEXA).
