NSW Land Registry Services (NSW LRS) has been part of the transition to a digital eConveyancing solution in NSW since 2013, designed to enhance customer experience and service delivery. NSW citizens and businesses can utilise our digital channels for more efficient and streamlined services when conducting property transactions.
The Registrar General has announced a major step in the transition away from paper-based registration of land titles in NSW. From 11 October 2021, changes to the land titles system in NSW mean the cancellation of Certificates of Title and the control of the right to deal (CoRD) framework as well as 100% electronic lodgments of Real Property Act dealings through an ELNO by a subscriber.
All information on practical changes of cancellation of Certificates of Title and how you can use our online services to lodge new documents or respond to requisitions can be found via the sections below.
