We are excited to announce that the refurbishment of the NSW Land Registry Services (NSW LRS) Lodgment Office has been completed ahead of schedule and will officially reopen to customers on Level 30, 175 Liverpool Street, Sydney from 7 November 2024.

Today the Registrar General has declared that twenty-nine dealings will become Required Dealings from 22 March 2021, meaning the documents must be lodged electronically.

New requirements for the identification and claiming of slivers of land

From 1 January 2021 the Registrar General will require landholders, developers and surveyors, when preparing deposited plans of survey over Old System or Limited Title land, to deal with the whole of the land in the subject Deed or Limited Folio. These requirements seek to minimise the creation of small sliver parcels of land.
