This means lodging parties and Surveyors will be able to submit standard PDF files instead of compressing their documents into TIFF format.
This change will be made in response to stakeholder requests and will ensure documents are assessed in higher quality PDF format.
Plans and associated documents lodged in PDF will also be provided to end users in PDF format.
Stakeholder engagement with all professional bodies, government departments and information brokers will continue ahead of the change to PDF file format.
NSW LRS will keep stakeholders informed of any changes via regular announcements and engagement leading up to the launch of the new portal.
