How do I verify Identity?

Is verification of identity mandatory from 1 May 2016?

The rule takes effect from 1 May 2016 but the Registrar General is allowing a transition period of 3 months with full compliance required on and from 1 August 2016.

 

What are 'reasonable steps'?

Can I get someone else to do the verification of identity? 

Yes, you can use an Identity Agent. See Identity agents on the ARNECC website.
