What are Conveyancing Rules?
They are rules that will apply to the preparation and lodgment of paper documents, and will largely parallel provisions in the Participation Rules for electronic conveyancing.

The Conveyancing Rules are available to download on the Office of the Registrar General's website.

When will the Conveyancing Rules come into effect?
The first version commenced on 1 May 2016.
Current Version: Version 4 of the Conveyancing Rules came into effect on 15 May 2018.
What is covered in the Conveyancing Rules?
The matters addressed are:
- certifications
- electronic lodgment
- electronic Certificates of titles
- National Mortgage forms
- requirements for electronic lodgment of mandated dealings
- requirements for verification of identity
- requirements for verifying authority (or right to deal)
- supporting evidence requirements
Are the paper forms on the NSW LRS Website changing?
The Conveyancing Rules do not require changes to the paper forms.
