NSW Land Registry Services (NSW LRS) confirm that we will relocate our Lodgment Office from 1 Prince Albert Road, Queens Square, to Level 30, 175 Liverpool Street, Sydney in July 2020.
175 Liverpool Street, Sydney is located at the southern end of Hyde Park, opposite the Anzac Memorial and close to Museum Train Station.
The move from Queens Square follows the relocation of NSW LRS’ head office to 175 Liverpool Street, Sydney in May 2019. NSW LRS previously advised stakeholders of our intention to relocate from Queens Square in November 2018. The decision to relocate formed part of the concession deed between the state government and NSW LRS signed in 2017.

Making it easier to do business with us
To prepare for this relocation, NSW LRS has been reviewing and improving processes within our Queens Square lodgment office for over twelve months. Recommendations from a recent review of our operations have also informed the design of the new Lodgment Office.
Preparations are ongoing at Queens Square, with building works scheduled to commence for the new Lodgment Office in the coming weeks.
Date of relocation to be confirmed, minimising financial year-end impact
We anticipate that our Queens Square office will permanently close on or around Friday 3 July 2020 with the new lodgment office opening at 175 Liverpool Street on or around Monday 6 July 2020. These dates are approximate and will be confirmed closer to the time.
NSW LRS is mindful that the end of financial year period is a busy time for all parties and will seek to minimise any disruption caused by this relocation.
Supply chain delays resulting from the COVID-19 (novel coronavirus) may also affect these dates, although we are actively seeking to minimise its impact.
NSW LRS will provide further updates as works progress including confirmation of relocation dates closer to the time.
