NSW Land Registry Services (NSW LRS) continues our efforts to simplify plan lodgment with the release of updated interactive ‘smart’ Admin Sheets, which are now available in the NSW LRS website’s Forms Library and with the approved forms in the Registrar General’s Guidelines.
These updates follow the introduction of the smart Admin Sheets for lodgment with Deposited Plans, Community Plans and Strata Plans in July 2019, which enable lodging parties to prepare their documents more easily and with less chance of administrative errors.
New features of the updated interactive Admin Sheets include:
- A standard table for the Schedule of Unit Entitlement has been added to the Strata Plan and Community Plan Admin Sheets.
- An Affecting Interests section that allows the entry of Section 88B items has been added to all interactive Admin Sheets.
- Additional space has been provided in the Surveyor’s Certificate for firm and address information in all interactive Admin Sheets.
- Minor ‘bug’ fixes addressing customer feedback across all Admin Sheets.
Support for interactive form users
For users of the smart Admin Sheets, User Guides are available in the Reference Guides section of the NSW LRS website’s Help Hub: www.nswlrs.com.au/Help/Guides-and-Templates.
Developing a Section 88B Instrument interactive form
NSW LRS is currently developing an interactive form for the lodgment of Section 88B Instruments, which are lodged with the plan to create and/or release an affecting interest such as an easement, profit à prendre, positive covenant, or restriction on the use of land under the Conveyancing Act 1919 (NSW).
When completed in the coming months, the Section 88B Instrument interactive form will complement the existing manual form, giving lodging party’s choice in how they prepare these Instruments.
If you would like to participate in the testing of the interactive Section 88B Instrument form during its development, please contact NSW LRS using the contact methods below.
