GRESB is an international benchmark for Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) performance in real estate and infrastructure investments.
NSW LRS Chief Executive Officer, Adam Bennett, said: “NSW LRS is proud to have put targets and projects in place that have been recognised by an international benchmark such as GRESB.
“Social initiatives such as free access to land and property information after catastrophic NSW bushfires, creating online digital lodgement options for customers during COVID-19, new employee engagement and wellbeing programs, large scale migration of technology infrastructure into an AWS cloud environment, combined with strong governance and environmental performance reporting have all contributed to our 2020 GRESB score,” Bennett said.
The NSW LRS Environmental, Social and Governance program guides the organisation to operate sustainably and responsibly for customers, stakeholders, employees, investors, the environment and our community.
In 2020 NSW LRS placed first in specialised industry class and 19th out of 406 global organisations, with a score of 92 of a possible 100.
